Residential care is funded in different ways, and we aim to make the cost clear from the first conversation.
Most placements are funded through Medicaid waivers, county programs or a mix of public funding and private contribution. What a family actually pays varies a great deal depending on the funding a resident qualifies for.
The figures below are indicative monthly ranges for planning only. We will always walk through the specific numbers for your situation before anything is agreed.
| Item | Typical | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Residential support (waiver-funded) | Largely covered | Most residents qualify for Medicaid HCBS waiver funding that covers the core cost of care. |
| Private monthly contribution | $1,500 – $3,500 / mo | Where private funding applies, the amount depends on level of support needed. |
| Short-term / respite stay | $120 – $220 / day | For families needing temporary care; subject to availability. |
These are planning figures, not a quote. Care funding is individual, and we will help you understand exactly what applies to you — including help navigating waiver eligibility.
If cost is a worry, talk to us anyway. A large part of what we do is helping families find and arrange the funding they are entitled to.
